Environmental Justice

SRPEDD strives to respond to the goals, priorities, and needs of all populations in our region. This includes proactive efforts to reach groups that qualify as Environmental Justice (or "EJ") communities. EJ communities can have a high proportion of minorities, a high proportion of low-income households, or a high proportion of people with "limited English proficiency" (LEP). Some EJ areas meet more than one of these definitions.
