SRPEDD’s Environmental Planning Department is seeking a proven project leader to advance our work program, contribute to agency goals, and engage in the work of enhancing environmental quality and resilience across Southeastern Massachusetts. This position is designed for a serious candidate with 5-7 years of real-world project management experience in the environmental or land use planning field after graduating with their MA/MS in the field of urban planning, regional planning, environmental science, watershed science or a related field.

Interested in transportation, engineering, trails, or related fields? An internship at SRPEDD offers hands-on experience and an opportunity to build valuable skills. Interns may assist with installing traffic counting equipment, surveying pavement conditions, conducting turning movement counts at signalized intersections, and mapping recreational trails.
Timing: May/June through August
Hours & Pay: Up to 38 hours per week at $20/hour
