Community and Economic Development Planner

The Community and Economic Development Planner is a technical co-lead on numerous plans, project management initiatives, zoning amendments, civic engagement efforts, and other deliverables. They will produce planning narratives, data and policy analysis, writing (both technical and creative), educational materials, project documentation, and other work, as needed. The Planner works with a diverse team of planners and designers to deliver high-quality work and manage a diverse portfolio of projects.

GIS and Data Specialist

The GIS and Data Specialist acts as a technical assistant on numerous plans, civic engagement efforts, and other work products. The Specialist will perform a wide variety of data gathering, editing, analysis, and interpretation; map and figure production; file and database maintenance; and utilizing web services on ArcGIS online.

Homeland Security Specialist

The Homeland Security Specialist acts as a technical assistant on numerous SRAC- related tasks including, but not limited to: project development, management, and oversight, purchase orders, reimbursements, and vendor relations, grant writing, management, and compliance, meeting preparation, attendance and taking of minutes, stakeholder outreach, relations, and communication, inventory control, mapping, and database management, field work for Active Shooter / Hostile Event (ASHE) Response tools, drone flights, and trainings, web page development, upkeep, and management.

Transportation Planning

Transportation Outreach Coordinator

The Transportation Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day transportation planning functions including serving as a liaison to our communities, stakeholders, and staff, Title VI/ADA related work including outsourcing translation services and interpreters, and accessibility checks and supporting fellow planning staff in tasks related to public engagement.

Principal Transportation Planner

SRPEDD’s Transportation Department is seeking a self‐starting team player who enjoys collaborating as well as working on their own and is independent enough to take the initiative and serve as a reliable, effective project manager on meaningful and substantive planning projects. The Principal Transportation Planner acts as a creative and technical assistant and leader on numerous plans, studies, public engagement initiatives, grant applications, and other complex products. Responsibilities require an understanding of principles, practices and methods of transportation planning and related technical assistance.
