Whether it is through economic and community development, planning for safer streets, increasing public safety and security, or strengthening coordination for a healthier environment, SRPEDD's regional planning mission is about improving quality of life in collaboration with the communities we serve.

While SRPEDD may consist of Departments, we function as a team - including working collaboratively with numerous outside partners with a broad set of professional and political backgrounds. Our planners bring a diversity of professional expertise to our work. And SRPEDD emphasizes direct and responsive partnerships with each community we serve, with the state and federal government, with non-profits and community groups, and with citizens across southeastern Massachusetts.
