Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS)
About CEDS
The Regional Economic Strategy Committee (RESC) and SRPEDD staff update the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) to reflect the latest target redevelopment sites, innovative financing and permitting techniques, and the newest thinking in our region. Other important local and regional plans inform and influence the projects that appear in this important document. For more information, please check out the full document, attend open RESC meetings, or reach out to SRPEDD’s Economic Development team.
The CEDS considers and complements concurrent regional planning efforts, including the use of other available federal funds, private sector resources, and state support which can advance a region’s CEDS goals and objectives. SRPEDD updates the CEDS every five years to qualify for EDA assistance under the Public Works and Economic Adjustment Assistance programs.
