We will have a presentation from Taunton on future TIP projects, status updates on projects programmed in the FFY2026-2030 TIP, and an update on FFY2027-2031 TIP development. The agenda and draft meeting minutes are attached for your review.

This means that: if you are a voting member of the JTPG OR are on the regular mailing list for JTPG invites and communications, you will receive a separate email with your link to the Zoom meeting. This email will look like the image below and will be unique for each person. It will state that you are invited to be a Panelist, which means you are simply a full participant in the meeting – as opposed to being an Attendee which is a view-only participant who can only be unmuted by a host. Folks who are not JTPG voting members or not on the regular JTPG mailing list will need to register for the meeting as an Attendee using the registration link on the SRPEDD website and attached agenda.

SMMPO staff will be presenting our draft updated Public Participation Plan, draft updated Language Assistance Plan, and the body will be voting on recommending these plans to the SMMPO for release to public comment period. We will also discuss our Draft Comprehensive Climate Action Plan and Interactive Transit-Accessible Park Finder (ITAP) Map. The agenda and draft meeting minutes are below for your review.

The Southeastern Massachusetts Metropolitan Planning Organization (SMMPO) is responsible for conducting the federally required metropolitan transportation planning process for the 27 communities that comprise Southeastern Massachusetts. The SMMPO develops a vision for transportation in the region and decides how to allocate federal and state transportation funds to transportation programs and projects that improve roadway, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian infrastructure.
