SRPEDD Announces a minimum 21-day Public Comment Period and a Virtual Public Meeting on Wednesday, May 4, 2023 at 4:00 pm to hear comments for the release of the FFY2024-2028 Draft TIP, and proposed amendment #3 to the FFY2023-2027 TIP concerning GATRA transit funding.
April 18, 2023 – The FFY2024-2028 Draft TIP is being released for public comment. Also, the FFY2023-2027 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is being amended concerning a cost increase to the New Bedford County Street projects, and transit funding for GATRA. This amendment is also being released for public comment. The TIP is the programming document listing all federally funded road and bridge projects in the region and all transit projects for both the Southeastern Regional Transit Authority (SRTA) and the Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Transit Authority (GATRA).
A virtual public meeting on this amendment will be held remotely on Wednesday, May 4, 2023 at 4:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend, ask questions and offer comments, but attendance is not necessary to offer input or comment. More options to offer comments can be found below.

February 22, 2023 – The FFY2023-2027 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is being amended due to a cost increase to the Mansfield Balcom Street over the Wading River Bridge project, and both GATRA & SRTA project funding changes involving renovations, support equipment, and new vehicles.

Title VI Notice of Nondiscrimination: The SMMPO, through SRPEDD, complies with Title VI of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964 and related federal and state statutes and regulations. It is the policy of SRPEDD to
ensure that no person or group of persons shall on the grounds of Title VI protected categories,
including race, color, national origin, or under additional federal and state protected categories
including sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, creed, ancestry,
veteran’s status (including Vietnam-era veterans), or background, be excluded from participation in, be
denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity
