Connecting Our Communities Across the Commonwealth

Public Transit's Purpose

Public transit is about bringing people together and connecting folks to food, healthcare, education, careers, friends/family, and nature. SRPEDD's transit staff works with both regional transit authorities in our region to offer technical assistance, data collection, service planning, and support for public outreach.

Mobility Management

What is Mobility Management?

Mobility Management is about working to meet the transit needs of community members. This is done through collaborating with cities/towns, organizations, transit providers, and community members to understand unmet transportation needs, and how to sustain a more connected region for all.

The following reports highlight how SRPEDD is coordinating with the region to identify unmet transportation needs. These needs have been identified through community engagement, and collaboration with Regional Transit Authorities, and municipal leaders.

How Can SRPEDD Help?

SRPEDD can offer technical assistance to provide informed decision making for transportation throughout the region. This assistance can provide insights into multiple modes of transportation while considering both the needs and aspirations of our community members.
