SRPEDD Announces an abbreviated, minimum 15-day Public Comment Period and a Virtual Public Meeting on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 5:00 pm to hear comments on the release of Amendment #6 to the FFY2022-2026 TIP that includes a highway cost increase to Project 607339 in Attleboro, Intersection Improvements At Route 1/Route 1A and Route 123, additional transit funding to establish new service from Mansfield to Logan, vans through the Community Transit Grant Program and an electric bus with 5339 funds for GATRA.
July 19, 2022 – The FFY2022-2026 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is being amended due to a highway cost increase to Project 607339 in Attleboro, Intersection Improvements at Route 1/Route 1A and Route 123, additional transit funding to establish new service from Mansfield to Logan, vans through the Community Transit Grant Program and an electric bus with 5339 funds for GATRA. The TIP is the programming document listing all federally funded road and bridge projects in the region and all transit projects for both the Southeastern Regional Transit Authority (SRTA) and the Greater Attleboro Taunton Regional Transit Authority (GATRA).
A virtual public meeting on this amendment will be held remotely on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 5:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend, ask questions and offer comments, but attendance is not necessary to offer input or comment. More options to offer comments can be found below.
