Every 4 years SRPEDD develops the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). The RTP is a blueprint of our existing and future transportation system. It looks at every facet of transportation including roads and bridges, travel patterns, public transportation such as buses, commuter rail, freight and airports, as well as bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure. It assesses our transportation needs and identifies the necessary improvements to enhance our transportation system.

As part of SRPEDD’s RTP update, we seek to shed some light on these topics – by bringing together local perspectives and proven concepts from our own backyard and around the world. This webinar series is about asking ourselves important questions that can help guide our thinking as an agency and as a region moving forward.
