Throughout 2022 and 2023, Dighton created a community-based economic development strategy that will serve to help guide the town moving forward. The final plan was adopted by the Dighton Board of Selectmen in December 2023. Please visit the SRPEDD resource library or the town website to read the plan.
Utilizing data and information, the Data Brief establishes trends and context for which to base proposed growth. This presentation also highlights key areas for growth and development.
With a combination of data and feedback from the first public meeting, the project team crafted scenarios of development upon key sites in Dighton. In order to achieve the visions, the Plan outlines strategies and recommendations the town may pursue in the future.
