Justice, Equity, and Community Development

Community Resources

As part of SRPEDD’s efforts in assisting our communities, especially during these challenging times, we are offering resources to address the needs of local officials and residents, including our experience, knowledge and resources.

To start, we have offered a webinar to communities to repurpose public space and share streets for pedestrians, bicyclists and outdoor dining. We also offer an extensive list of food pantries, meals for our older residents and school aged children, as well as medical and mental health resources. We are ready to assist our communities and residents at any time, but especially now.

SRPEDD hosted Getting Back to a New Normal: Repurposing Public Space, a webinar to discuss the reuse of public spaces with our partners from MassDOT, VHB, City of New Bedford and Town of Wareham. We are pleased to provide a recording of the webinar and a copy of the slides used during the presentation for your reference.
