Norton’s Village Center is home to Wheaton College, ranked among the top liberal arts colleges in the nation.
Wheaton College is one of the oldest institutions of higher education for women in the U.S. (men were first admitted in 1988). The town is also home to Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary, where more than 200 animals (alpacas, donkeys, goats, horses, and others) reside. The private TPC Boston golf course (designed by Arnold Palmer and others) and is a PGA Tour Facility. The town has incredible valuable natural resources, including the Canoe and Three-Mile Rivers and hundreds of certified vernal pools.
