Welcome! SRPEDD's Bicycle Planning program envisions a safe and connected bicycle transportation system for all ages and abilities across Southeastern Massachusetts!

SRPEDD helps cities and towns make biking safer, easier, and more comfortable for everyone. This includes people riding for fun, getting to work, or running errands. Our work is guided by the Regional Bicycle Plan, which helps identify where improvements are needed most across the region. We work with local partners to plan shared-use paths, protected bike lanes, and safer streets with a goal to create a connected network where people of all ages and abilities feel confident riding a bike. This page shares maps, studies, and tools that support bicycle planning in Southeastern Massachusetts. High comfort bicycle infrastructure improves safety, supports local businesses, and gives people more ways to get around without driving.
