Jed Cornock joined SRPEDD in 2015, and serves as a Principal Comprehensive Planner & Contract Coordinator. In his current position, Jed focuses on initiatives that include land use planning, housing development, zoning evaluations and amendments, bicycle and pedestrian planning, and various transportation analyses. Additionally, Jed manages SRPEDD’s Complete Streets Program, oversees the agency’s Homeland Security Program, and coordinates all municipal contracting efforts for the Comprehensive Planning Department. As a member of that department, he regularly works directly with communities in the SRPEDD region on a wide variety of projects, focusing on master planning, affordable housing production, build-out analyses, and complete streets needs assessments and prioritization plans.
Prior to joining SRPEDD, he was a Senior Transportation Planner with Old Colony Planning Council (OCPC) in Brockton, MA. In this position, Jed helped member communities with a number of technical assistance projects and data collection needs. Specifically, he focused on helping communities understand federal and state transportation policies, conducting safety and operational assessments, and assisting with road inventory and pavement management updates.
Jed holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from Bridgewater State University (BSU) and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
