Eric Arbeene has worked with SRPEDD since July 2017. Eric is a detail-oriented planner who enjoys meeting and working with town officials and community members throughout the region on a wide-range of projects. Eric’s current projects include overseeing Master Plans in Berkley and North Attleborough and coordinating SRPEDD’s efforts in assisting communities navigate the Green Communities Designation & Grant Program. In addition, Eric has authored Housing Production Plans, Complete Streets Prioritization Plans, and business development and permitting guides. Eric also oversees SRPEDD’s recently created Lunch & Learn series.

Eric is a Certified Planner through the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and is a Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official (MCPPO). Eric’s experience volunteering on his local Zoning Board of Appeals and Finance Committee has given him keen insight into the workings of local government.

Prior to joining SRPEDD, Eric was a Senior Community Planner at the Old Colony Planning Council for eight years. Eric is a graduate of Bridgewater State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
