The Joint Transportation Planning Group (JTPG) is the advisory body to the Southeastern Massachusetts Metropolitan Planning Organization (SMMPO). The JTPG shares responsibility in determining how to allocate federal funds for transit, roadway, bicycle, and pedestrian projects in Southeastern MA in order to make recommendations to the SMMPO. It is also the regional forum for public involvement for all issues pertaining to transportation in southeastern Massachusetts and a space for sharing announcements about funding opportunities, technical assistance, and project updates and concerns.

Please join us for a hybrid meeting of the Joint Transportation Planning Group (JTPG), advisory body to the Southeastern Massachusetts Metropolitan Planning Organization (SMMPO). You are welcome to attend at the SRPEDD office (88 Broadway, Taunton) or via ZOOM if preferred.

SMMPO staff will be presenting our draft updated Public Participation Plan, draft updated Language Assistance Plan, and the body will be voting on recommending these plans to the SMMPO for release to public comment period. We will also discuss our Draft Comprehensive Climate Action Plan and Interactive Transit-Accessible Park Finder (ITAP) Map. The agenda and draft meeting minutes are below for your review.
