The Joint Transportation Planning Group (JTPG) is the advisory body to the Southeastern Massachusetts Metropolitan Planning Organization (SMMPO). The JTPG shares responsibility in determining how to allocate federal funds for transit, roadway, bicycle, and pedestrian projects in Southeastern MA in order to make recommendations to the SMMPO. It is also the regional forum for public involvement for all issues pertaining to transportation in southeastern Massachusetts and a space for sharing announcements about funding opportunities, technical assistance, and project updates and concerns.

Please join us for a hybrid meeting of the Joint Transportation Planning Group (JTPG). You are welcome to attend at the SRPEDD office (88 Broadway, Taunton) or via ZOOM if preferred.

We will present SMMPO staff’s draft Work Plan for FY2026, vote on endorsement of the FFY2026-2030 TIP (link here), present the SMMPO’s draft SS4A Regional Safety Action Plan, and provide presentations with Q and A on the Complete Streets Program and MassCEC’s Vehicle-to-Everything Bidirectional EV Charging program.
