The Joint Transportation Planning Group (JTPG) is the advisory body to the Southeastern Massachusetts Metropolitan Planning Organization (SMMPO). The JTPG shares responsibility in determining how to allocate federal funds for transit, roadway, bicycle, and pedestrian projects in Southeastern MA in order to make recommendations to the SMMPO. It is also the regional forum for public involvement for all issues pertaining to transportation in southeastern Massachusetts and a space for sharing announcements about funding opportunities, technical assistance, and project updates and concerns.

Please join us for a hybrid meeting of the Joint Transportation Planning Group (JTPG). You are welcome to attend at the SRPEDD office (88 Broadway, Taunton) or via ZOOM if preferred. We will discuss the Draft 2026-2030 TIP and the SMMPO’s technical assistance program. The agenda, draft meeting minutes and other materials are attached for your review.
