Westport Barrier Beach Management Planning

The Town of Westport, in collaboration with the Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management (CZM), EEA Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Program, Woods Hole Group, and the Southeast Regional Planning & Economic Development District (SRPEDD) is developing a Barrier Beach Management Planning Strategy for Atlantic Ave, the Knubble, and East Beach barrier beaches.

This initiative is funded by CZM's Coastal Resilience Grant Program and an MVP Action Grant. This effort will look into the past, present, and future management of Atlantic Ave, the Knubble, and East Beach barrier beaches.

Managing Barrier Beaches in Westport
