Please click here for the Proposed Public Participation Program AmendmentsJanuary 18, 2017 -- The SMMPO is proposing an amendment to the PPP to change all 30-day public comment periods to 21-day public comment periods. Public comment periods are used to garner feedback for transportation planning programs such as the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and for proposed projects, or changes to programs or services. The only program that will still require an extended comment period is the PPP itself, which requires a 45-day public comment period. This will remain unchanged. The amended document will become final on March 21, 2017 once approved by the SMMPO. We are actively seeking and welcome comments and feedback from any and all interested parties on this amendment and on any transportation related concerns.
