Scenic Westport has an embarrassment of natural riches.
Its shoreline stretches 61 miles along Buzzard’s Bay and the Westport River. Horseneck Beach offers two miles of surf, a campground, and an ADA-accessible two-mile walking path. Cherry & Webb Beach, just down the shore, offers a parking area, picnic tables, and a launch area for a kayak or paddleboard on Westport Harbor. Allen’s Pond Wildlife Sanctuary spans hundreds of acres of protected beach, fields, woodlands, and extensive trail systems. East Beach is a stretch of rocky shoreline that offers stunning views of the Elizabeth Islands across Buzzards Bay.
